Letter send by Pierre Richard to Me Perrin to support his work

Good morning, Me Perrin

Just a word to say that last sunday, I was at a meeting of l'Association des familles Richard du Québec. After a short speech about what you are doing to get excuses from the British family, the Association, unanimously, voted a resolution to support your work and the position of the Société Nationale des Acadiens. They also intend to get in touch with the others Associations de familles, mainly the ones who have many Acadiens in their membership, to ask them to take the same position.

For myself, I'm working now to meet the representatives of the different political organisations in Québec to ask them to present a motion (like the one presented by Stephane Bergeron) at the national assembly. But I want no discussion about this, means that I think it must not be colored by the political positions of the partys... It's why it takes me a bit of time... But I hope to see something happens in October.

Truly yours,

Pierre Richard

PS- I'm confident that you will be tolerant if you see some mistakes in my english text. I write in this language every five years, so... :-)
